In a deep work session, write down all your distractions on a small piece of paper, instead of jumping onto your train of thoughts. After the session, go through the list and NOT let yourself do any of the things you wrote down. In most cases, they aren't urgent or important.

Are you someone who absolutely cannot sit still? Or someone who dislikes the idea of “emptying your mind and think of nothing”?
I was exactly like this. The society has shaped us thinking meditation is about going on airplane mode in a deserted forest for a “deep cleanse”. That never worked for me. But I craved for a calm, clear mind otherwise my productivity and mental health would be seriously affected (#overthinker).
So I thought about it. Hard.
What brings me energy and a sense of calmness?
Music. Workout. Re-reading Harry Potter.
Well, all these activities share a common point: I will be in the flow, and soooo absorbed in the process that I forget about time.
When you live in the present moment, your body and mind are aligned.
This is, perhaps, what meditation is all about.
To unplug.
To realign your body and mind, so that you don’t get caught up in your head (#worries #depression).
I have summarised all the meditation and mindfulness techniques that worked for me, combined with my own handpan music. Thus created 5 handpan guided meditation soundtracks that suit your everyday needs.
